Stepped up from the 250cc to a BMW K75, saved my dad's old bike from going into retirement and shipped it over from Austria.

93000 km done on it but I'm sure there's plenty of life in it and I'll bring it well over 100000.

Did he eat you out of house and home also. It would have been cheaper to get a pro to clean it LOL

Cheers, yeah it's a '09 er6n, great machine, such a fun bike to ride, not huge power but enough to put a smile on your face.

Has your bike got a Clare reg?
Saw one on Saturday at Bikefest, parked on the left as you go in from the parking area.

Yep, combined weight of 180 kilos and the bike is 370 kilos makes twisties a lot of fun !! I found that a light lean into it and then give it some gas and the bike will put itself through the bend. May sound a bit mad to others but works well on the Rocket.

First half of the trip she was petrified and afraid to let go of the grab rail to let me know (had to be somewhere in time and we left late!), I took this as a sign of comfort and confidence, I was badly mistaken, told me she had her eyes closed all the way :pac:.

Second half was much much better since there was no rush and she really enjoyed it and wants to go again.

Nothing like powering out of a bend :D. What's the pillion seat vibrations like on the rocket ;)

You seem to be enjoying the rocket, are you happy with it overall?
