You seem to be enjoying the rocket, are you happy with it overall?

Yep, delighted. Its ticking all the boxes for me so far. Great fuel economy (on long trips), handles excellently for a big bike and can leave a Fireblade for dust as I found out at the weekend !! :D

My brother,a mate and myself are going at an old Cx650 custom that's been left there for about 12 years.
Not sure what way to go about it yet.
    Might try something like that

Lovely bike bikerguy, I'm considering one of these as my next bike. Is it an Irish reg, haven't seen too many around especially as well kitted as yours with the full fairings. I reckoned Id have to import from the UK so I've been keeping an eye on auto trader and mcn.

she is an irish lady mate. they are rare yes as the full faired version were little more expensive .. so people tend to go for the naked or the semi faired fz1's...

BTW i am really happy with her so far. she is little heavy alright, but the blast past 7k revs... omg... the front wheel cant stay down.. its a truck.. and it has endless power. on otherhand.. she can easy bubble at 80kmh on 6th gear... no problemo...

and the akrapovic on her (i removed the silencer), let me tell you sweet Jesus... you can hear the horses screaming to get out...

really good bike... its not a tourer but its not a pure sport.. its a perfect hybrid...

    i am pleased...

Lad off here asked me to go up the north to get a bike yesterday with him. Off we went to Kilkeel in Co. Down and came back with one of the nicest second hand bikes I have ever seen. It is absolute mint, 11,000 very dry klms NEVER in the wet and garaged until the summer when he went on gentle spins. Came with FULL HONDA LUGGAGE too. Offical colour is "Candy Red" and he ordered the bike with the gold wheels straight from the factory. Scottish man works on the oil rigs just doesnt have the time to ride it anymore as he is getting on in years. He bought it from new and had every scrap of paper and full service history, he genuinely had a tear in his eye selling it. Man can them scottish lads haggle.......

Its one angry little beast, deceptively quick and lovely growl. Vtech kicks in at 7,000rpm but is very subtle and a joy to ride......handling is super too.

I could not believe it when the little scottish man rolled it out of the garage.....then I had to pretend it wasnt all that and it needed SOOOO much work lol.

The bike is not even broken in yet.....STEAL of the Century I am telling ya. ;)

Thats a beaut Wonda, stunning. I love those VFR's, but they went and made the ugliest bike I think I've ever seen in my life ~ the new VFR1200F.

Your mates bike is a stunner.

I like the front of the VFR1200 but the back is trying too hard to be a Fireblade. I do like the overlapped fairing too on the sides, but its look is not for everyone. The main dislike I have is the engine note it sounds terrible. But in fairness to the VFR1200 it rides alot better then it looks. Leppla off here bought one last month and I had a blip on it.
