Goodlad, I know its not as aesthetically pleasing, but could you not just hacksaw off the ball bit (oo-er missus :) ) of a normal lever to have the same result?

    It's all about the aesthetics....

    Its all about the performance....

My bird performs pretty damn well.... so does my bike.

Your bird likes small levers, but we all know that :)

She was getting small levers wether she liked it or not :p

Have clear indicators for the front and back but yet to install em.
Got a black MRA screen on the way too because the wind blast is a bastard

Looks to me like the scottoiler is installed wrong Gary. Thats not dropping oil onto the sprocket it looks like its barely dropping it onto the chain!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,224 ✭✭✭goodlad

Tis working grand. The feed nozzles twist and are angled inward. Done about 500km since I installed it and the chain is oiled no bother

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,224 ✭✭✭goodlad

    Better angle on either side.

No that's perfect other pics were not great and misleading. Gonna get a dual injector myself too.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,224 ✭✭✭goodlad

I picked up my oiler and injector from amazon. Even with awful sterling conversion it was a good bit cheaper than anywhere in Ireland

Nevermind the packaging in the picture on amazon. Its the exact same one.

Dual injector fro mthe same place is about a tenner cheaper than most places too.

How you finding the shorties goodlad? Particularly on the clutch side?

Thinking of getting a set for the K6.

    Are they Pazzo's btw?

Finding them great. I had debate getting a full size clutch side but i couldnt handle the lack of symmetry if i did.

They are ebay specials. I dont a good bit of asking around from blackbird owners about levers and a specific seller was constantly recommended.

Scroll down and you will see in the details that he will make em for any bike

I find that the V Trech levers are the best bang for buck around, pazzo and ASV etc are no where near worth the dosh. The vtrech are uber good quality and decent price.

I still think Jonathan needs a physically bigger bike than his yellow cruiser. Although I'm not sure any bike will be big enough for him

Where'd you get the powder coating done ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,025 ✭✭✭Wossack

tallaght powdercoat - my only negative is they could have masked them a bit better imo. Had to shave down some of the powdercoat where the discs mounted to the hubs, and in where the sprocket carrier fits. They're probably just more used to car wheels - so do say it to em to save yourself a headache

but colour is fantastic, really pleased with it. From the picture, the colour is more like the rear wheel the majority of the time, but it changes a fair bit depending on the light.

Ah it sure does. The blue one looked awful. Was a horrible pale blue.
Black one matches in lovely with the frame and seat
