Not the 250N.. At best all I could say for them was that at the end of their life they made a half decent courier bike before dying a rusty death in someone's back garden or City Spares.

    Nail on the head

Care to guess where this has been for 20 years after 60k miles? :D

I don't think I've posted a pic of any of my bikes on here before. I finally got around to washing the new bike and I thought it was post worthy.

Very clean Dully, usually they look very tatty and tired.

As mentioned October has been brilliant. So good I took the old girl down to the home place for a shakedown. Nothing like a bit of sunshine, autumn colours and and an 80's thumber. Hopefully we'll get a few more good days and I'll get her into the sand pit and up through the bogs before a winter clean and maybe a complete rebuild.

I left my fz1 in with Brian in http://www.motorcyclevaletingdublin.ie/

Went for the full OCD clean and acf 50 treatment. There literally is not an inch of the bike that wasnt cleaned. Its showroom condition.

Fully washed, waxed, sealed and treated.

I was only watching youtube videos of acf 50 treatment this evening. Im still confused if you should let the acf 50 hit rubber parts?

Very nice Gary its spotless. Wasnt that dirty in the first place TBH, right time to get it done now with the winter coming in hard and fast.....I bought the fine spray attachment for my compressor so gonna give it the works myself too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,224 ✭✭✭goodlad

Ah yeah the bike was pretty clean anyway. But even if it goes in manky or clean the lads still put in the effort and get it spotless before the acf 50 goes on.

Just tuck a **** load of rags around the breaks so the stuff cant get near them. Ya wont have to worry about where the spray/mist goes then.

The bike looks bran new Goodlad. Seen some of Brian's work & it's top class. A clean bike goes in & comes out in showroom spec.
