Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Picked up my sons new BMW R800GS Trophy from Joe Duffy's Motorrad today

    437959.jpg

Out with the old, in with the new ~ the ER6n is the old bike.

    437960.jpg

I have to say that dealing with Joe Duffy's over the last two weeks has been a pleasure, completely different to my experiences with them just a few years back (I guess they listened to online complaints from disgruntled owners/customers).

On a second hand bike, regardless its age they give a 12 manufacturers warrenty and European wide roadside assist.

Compare that to Bikeworld (which I've no complaints about, I've always had good dealings with them).. I test rode a Kawasaki Verseys 1000, it was a 152D reg and just out of Kawasaki's two year warranty ~ they were only giving a six month shop warranty!!.

A rare sunny January day so decided on some cleaning, chain maintenance and cleaned up the brake calipers front and rear.

And despite stick from my mates I still love the stock OEM pipes on Zed Zeppelin

In the background is my sons new F800GS

Last few weeks been thinking of letting my blade go and going back to a TDM or similar, I'm finding it tough to decide as I've always loved them but years of sports injuries are raising their ugly heads
