Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi PositiveNote

You are more than welcome to pop in and join us for a couple of sessions without having to join - to get the feel of the place. We meet on a tuesday evening at 8pm and are located on Camden st. The club is located between Anseo and Dunnes mini mart, opposite Devitts pub. Its a green shop front with Dublin Camera Club on the front sign.

There's a good chance you'll see myself, ThOnda, Sineadw, CabinSail and Xia there. If you get a tour of the shop then it will more than likely be CabinSail that will be giving you the 'grand tour' :D

Hopefully we'll see you there. Remember don't be shy and say hello ;)

Besides my 10,000 euro finders fee  and a couple of hot chicks :D, you should get by with just bringing yourself :pac:

Tomorrow evening we have a guest who'll be giving an 'Introduction to Photo Editing Software'. Just grab a seat and enjoy the show.

I'll be in there :) I'll probably be in a grey 'pirates unite' t shirt and black trousers. Down the back, generally making a nuisance of myself ;) Come and say hello and I'll introduce you to people..

    hey :-)

I'm thinking of popping in shortly, if ye don't mind! :)

I did a creative photography course last year with Dave at the IofP and I miss not having something to go to or to motivate me into taking more interesting pics. :)

More than welcome to come along as a Visitor to a weekly meeting. Doors open a bit before 8pm. The program is on the Website.

Many thanks for the guided tour of the building on Culture Night.

The club is incredibly well equipped, with an extensive library.

I'm puzzled as to why the current web page is giving an error notice, with a rather aggressive logo. Has the site actually been hacked?

    Bugger !!

Thanks for the update. We have been hacked

I didn't realise you were there for the 'guided tours'. Did you make youself know to any of us. I was with Caban Sail on one of the tours while, 'Gerard' one of our other members did some other ?

Would have like to have said hello.

My husband and I really enjoyed meeting so many of the Boards and Dublin Camera Club members. It was great to be able to chat with Xia and Beth Ann. Cabansail gave an extensive tour and was really encouraging. I'll try to join next year, but there's a backlog of gardening at the moment.

Here's hoping to meet at some other time, Buzz.

As for the hacking, that logo seems to have spread around the net and I was wondering how it got to infiltrate. Some security tips in the Off Topic thread would be very much appreciated.
