    THE IMPACT EVENT


    Portadown - 26th Of September 2009

    The Impact Event is pleased to annouce it's first ever event is to be held in Portadown in the Millenium Courts Art centre on Saturday the 26th of September 2009. This event is designed to bring fans from all over Ireland under one roof to celebrate what they love the most. Even if your aren't a fan, it will still be a grand day out for children, teens, adults and older people.

    Not only are we showing Japanese Cartoons and looking at Japanese Comics, there will also be gaming. You will be able to play many different consoles, from retro stuff, like the first Mario game to the most recent games like Halo 3 and Street Fighter IV.

    There will be an artist alley, were you can view and purchase local artists work, we are also taking booking for artists, there are ten places, not only that we will have panels, we you can ask questions, learn how to draw Anime and learn a bit of Japanese. We will also be giving out prizes for winners in tournaments and cosplay competitions (dressing up as your favourite character).

    New update =D

    Less than a month to go.
    The event starts at 10am and ends at 5pm.
    You can now book your place on the site and pay at the door.
    Door prices have decreased to £5.00 per adult and cosplayers get 10% off.
    Tables for artists are free but 10% of the profit will be taken to help pay for the event.
    If you you have any old material to sell, like toys, manga and games, contact me and we can arrange a table for you.
