    Hi all,

    I was wondering if someone could recommend somewhere to get a few photos restored & enlarged in Dublin City or even online?

    One of the photos is an older image, small and slightly damaged which I would like to get cleaned up and enlarged. The others are mainly photos taken in the 70's & 80's which are just slightly out of focus which, again, I would like to get sharpened up and enlarged.

    Are you offering any payment for getting this done?

    How much would you like them enlarged? Did you scan these yourself? Do you have the original images.

    A decent scanning person who has a really good scanner can do better and more detailed scans than the home scanner can.

    Thanks for the reply. In answer to your questions, yes I am prepared to pay for any professional service that can offer me the results I am seeking.

    I have the original photos and can scan them myself, if required and can scan above 300dpi, if requested. I would like to enlarged some of the photos x2, if possible and would be prepared to sacrifice some quality in the image for this.

    Are you able to recommend a specialist in Dublin City centre?

    I've heard of this crowd before www.farclo.com but I can't vouch for them having never dealt with them.

    Resizing the image is dependent on a lot of things and final intent.


    Or I could do it for you .

    If you want I can help you scan the image and retouch and resize them with you.

    But basically I need to see the image, and scan them correctly for resizing etc.
