Looking for some pubs that do BBQs that could cater fro 50 people in the Galway city area. Went to Crowes last year and Kelehans the year before but looking to shop around to get a better deal this year.

Any recommendations are appreciated. Looking for lots of good quality food for a reasonable price.

    Thanks!

We had one in the Galway Bay on Sunday, I was happy with the quality of the food. (Burgers, big sausages, chicken fillets, chips, spuds, corn on the cob & salads)

Just rang them there "Our last one was this Sunday....."

Very strange reply for anywhere to turn down business, sometimes I just don't get this country.....

Probably something to do with the wettest july in 50 years and consequential cancelled bookings and resulting in "more hassle than it's worth" decision to stop bothering.

Crowes on Prospect Hill are very good for BBQ's - they do them for Medtronic where some friends work

Kelehans in Bushy Park is great too - we have had a few BBQ'sd there over the years and couldn't fault anything

    Hope that helps

College Bar at NUIG do them too, can be done by special order too. Does the job and they'll do it inside if its pissing it down.

Any pub with a kitchen and a beer garden should be able to sort you out.

Thanks for the suggestions, we are going with Crowes. They are the only place that was prepared to be flexible with their price and what they were offering and they are offering very competitive prices.
