That kind of learning seemed more course focused and aimed on getting results rather than merely learning the language. I still remember a lot of the language, but my grammar is quite poor and my vocabulary could do with a lot of expanding.

Can anyone recommend any good grammar books, and good textbooks for someone who would be at an intermediate level to improve their German?
