    No MSN or Playstation Network working here. Spent 10 euro on a new thing for a playstation 3 game and 10 mins after starting it i lost my connection :mad:.

    there was a great article in wired a few months ago about these kinds of attacks and how easy they are to do. apparently the guy that discovered this tried to warn isps but they didn't listen and are now facing the consequences.

    Changed my nameservers to open DNS and everything is working again.

    Edit: MSN is working but PSN not

    My UPC has been dropping at random for the last few weeks. Only 5 mins at a time. Every so often.

    Connections came back for about an hour and then have just gone down again...

    I hope UPC get this sorted out soon.

    i really hate having to call them and simply get the usual "powerdown your cable-modem" crap..

    Everything working for me now including playstation network, xbox live and xbox.com.

    No doubt it will happen again after 12am like it has the last few nights.

    Is there nothing we can do about this? This is ridiculous.

    I'm on a 20mb package and I'm getting half the speed and a ping of 1002ms!!! My upload which is meant to be 1.5mb is 0.11mb

    UPC totally down now in D12. Rebooted everything. Is it just me? And I've only edge coverage on my phone. I'm going to have nightmares of the old dial-up scream.

    My internet has been gone since 1.10am, only back now. UPC would want to sort this out it been happening since last week for me always in the early hours, I left Eircon because of crap like this.

    Still down for me. Though I'm too lazy to get out of bed now to power cycle the modem and airport. Hopfully it'll be back in the morning. Worrying though that it's becoming pretty regular.
