Looking to start playing, Meath area

    Hey guys,

    I'm looking to start playing basketball, does anyone know if there is anywhere in the east meath area? Im 28 and have never played basketball before but am willing to give it a good shot!

    There were a few teams knocking around, but most were poor standard. Best was probably the Simonstown Knights - used to play in Simonstown gym in the GAA club there just outside Navan. It might be worth ringing up Simonstown GAA club, see if they have any contacts there, dunno if the lads are still playing together or not.

    EDIT: Woops, just noticed you've never played before, sorry, doubt those guys will suit you so. There was a team in Trim I think that was a lower standard. Best bet might be to talk to Basketball Ireland, see if they can give you any info on teams in Meath.
