    Doctor Leaves is the musical moniker of Ben Shorten and Dara Munnis.

    Our debut record, the Doctor Leaves EP, will be released on the 9th of September 09.

    The duo began gigging as a two-piece in 2008 but for the recording process, enlisted the help of some friends to create a bigger noise than they could make by themselves.This gives them the enviable possibility of transforming from a simple duo with piano and guitar, to a full 7-piece band complete with trumpet and cello, depending on the type of gig or the sound required. And though the size of their sound might change, the songs retain the imagination, playfulness and energy that make them one of Ireland's most exciting prospects.
