Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Oh heck :(

    West Bromwich Albion v Newcastle.
    Live coverage from the Hawthorns as West Brom take on Newcastle on the opening weekend of the 2009/10 Football League season. Both these clubs suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, and will be desperate for a good start to life in the Championship in order to get their challenge for an immediate return to the top flight up and running.

    Ah well FTA beggars can't be choosers ;)

    Where did the bbc get these matches from? Are they part of what sky used to show, or is this a new deal entirely, with sky showing the same as last year?

    BBC only have ten matches and that includes the Carling Cup final and two semi finals.

    It's not a lot but it's probably the cheapest games the Beeb could afford... maybe. I dunno.

    Good to see though.

    Yup BBC will be broadcasting 10 league matches untill 2012 in a deal with Sky.

    This is actually very good for the Championship, getting live games on free TV. Pity its not at 3pm, but one step at a time I suppose.
