Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I know there's plenty of threads about Vegas but I'm going there in a few weeks and want to go see the Cirque de Soleil Love show, only thing is the tickets seem to be really expensive!

Does anyone know where the best place to buy tickets are or is there any tips you might know to get them cheaper ie vouchers/on the night!!!

Don't know about those tickets but there's loads to see in Vegas and you don't have to spend much to do anything. Of course, you could spend a fortune if you want but it's not necessary.

Lots of the shows on the streets are free. Don't forget to go to the outlet centres there too. There are two of them and you'll probably spend most of your money there.

go to the TIX4lESS booths on the strip. You might get the show discounted for that night. Didn't see Love but went to see La Reve and it was excellent.

them ticket booth's are the best place to go for show tickets, provided you dont mind which show you're going to. If you just want to sample a Vegas show then get tix here. Would definitely go to a Magic Show, went to see Steve Wyrick (sp?) in Planet Hollywood last year and it was unreal. totally showbiz, totally Vegas (he made a jet dissappear! impressed me all the same)

Penn and Teller do an amazing show at the Rio. IT isn't cheap, but it's worth it.

We went to see the original version of Cirque de Soleil not sure what it was called, it was excellent well worth the money. We saw David Copperfield too, he was very good. The tickets are pricey but they are well worth it.

Definitely go to a show, cut back on what you spend gambling if you need to, you wont see a better show than one youll see in Vegas!!

Please, please, please go and see Le Reve @ the Wynn.

It is out-of-this-world $110 each but

    You will thank me later.

    Enjoy.

I wanted to go and see that! Supposed to be great. Saw the Blue Man Show, which was fantastic!

The Beatles Love Show @ The Mirage is unreal. Even if the tickets are expensive, it is sooo worth it.
The Holly Mansion Peepshow @ Planet Hollywood is ok if you want to see all topless ladies for an expensive price including Holly at the end.
The Terry Fator Show @ The Mirage is also a little expensive but worth it as well.
The Volcano @ The Mirage is free
The Sirens @ Treasure Island is free
The Statues @ Ceasers is free
The Light Show @ Paris is free

Ka - In the MGM Grand is by far the best show in Vegas!

Jaysus Spear Thrower... been to see every show in Vegas and has found the best one !! :D

Im just back from Vegas (2 weeks ago). I went to see Cirque du Soleil "O" in the Bellagio.
    http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/en/shows/o/show/about.aspx

The tickets were $170 pp which I thought was expensive but after coming out of the show I would have paid double that to see it again.

I have been to Vegas 4 times and this was the first show I've been to. I can safely say that after seeing a show it wont be the last one I go to see.

There are shows in all the hotels that suit all types of budgets. TBH everyone who posts here (myself included) will have seen the "BEST" show in Vegas. My advise is check online, see what takes your fancy and read the reviews.

I felt robbed after seeing their show, not worth the money at all.

For a real value magic/comedy show you'd be hard pressed to beat The Amazing Jonathan. I thought he was excellent.

+1 on Penn & Teller. Not worth the money.

Best show in Vegas is Ka at the MGM.

I saw Love when I was in Vegas in May. We got our tickets for 50% of the price at the Concierge desk in the Mirage because we went in at the last minute and they were selling off remaining tickets. This is my tip for any trip to Vegas and have passed it on to a few people who have seen the same result.

The show itself is out of this world, I'd go again tomorrow and happily pay full price but I'm a huge Beatles fan as it is.

By all means try and get the tickets as cheap as possible but you'll be robbing yourself if you don't go to a good show.

I went to see KA in the MGM and think I paid $150 cause they were last minute tickets (i was an intern at the time so not well paid) and still thought it was worth every penny.

Seen Penn and teller too, cant remember what I paid but remember thinking it was a touch average. Get to meet them at the end though which is nice :)

When I was in Vegas last year went to see Phantom and KA - both absolutely brilliant, nothing like west end as the theatre is custom built and therefore part of the show experience.

TKTs does not tend to carry tickets for the top shows and earlier tip re concierge sounds like only option of cheap tickets for big show, guess it depends on which night you are going on - I expect Friday/Saturday could be tough - don't forget the Casino's also hold back tickets to give to their favoured guests as comps.

However, having paid full price for myself and wife I was not disapointed and would definitely do so again.

The free shows are good but, they are not on the same scale.

With the dollar exchange at the moment at least you will get a more favourable Euro price :-)

Whatever you do don't miss out on the show for a few Euro...
