Problem probably due to my lack of computer skills

    Hey, I have a minor problem which can probably be sorted out easily. I have read the FAQ section and can still not understand.
    Basically I wanted an avatar and a sig. Which I got easily enough. however I can only see them when I log out. and the same with other users on boards. I had been lurking on boards for about 3 years before signing up and love reading peoples sigs and I relate certain avatars to certain users.
    So my question is, how can I see sigs and avatars when I am logged in?
