Doing a thesis at the moment and one of my chapters is on the irish education system.

Just wondering does anyone know where i'd find good information on the Irish education system apart from the department of education and science website, educationireland.ie.

Also does anyone know when free fees were introduced in Ireland?

    Thanks in advance,

PS mods feel free to move where appropriate!

John Walsh (PhD in Hitory from trinity) has a book coming out on the history of irish education. Man University Press is the publisher. Same author has some info on role of Pres Hilary (spelling!) on irish ed policy in biography of same.
