Disqualifications for membership of Dail Eireann.

    Just wondering if anyone knows what are the criteria for disqualification from eligibility for membership of Dail Eireann are.

    Have been able to find out for Local Authorities, (Local Government Act 2001,Section 13), but can't find complete details for Dail Eireann

    Any pointers in the right direction would be appreciated.

    No mention of drink driving up the wrong way of a motorway either so I guess a certain Dr is clear too :D
