Are you looking for a whole, cooked chicken?

If so both Tesco and Dunnes do them at their Deli counters.

They also do chilled cooked chickens in packs of 2 (2 small chickens), 1(1 medium chicken) and half chickens (half a large chicken). Usually around the same place as the cooked ham and that sort of thing.

The 2 dunnes I go to have full chickens in the cold food section (not their deli), I think they are O'Kane and they are great value they are ALWAYS on offer, i.e. it is not really an offer. I think 2 small ones in a twin pack is €7, and a bigger one is €4.50. They are really cheap since you save on electricity and clean up, also they might appear more expensive but they are actually cheaper than some fresh chickens, i.e. a 1.4kg fresh chicken does not come out of the oven at 1.4kg.
