ntl and a sony dvd recorder ???

    hi there
    is it possable 2 connect my ntl box up with
    a sony hdd recorder???????
    I have all the scarts and leads,but it will only
    accept the analog stations..... and the instruction
    book is toataly use less....

    yes and no,

    yes you can set it up, use the scart input, and change the DVD recorder to the appriopate channel e.g video 1 or video 2. think on some sonys you slide the cover at the bottom to switch to video 1 or 2.


    No , you can not tune in the channels. so basically you can't program the dvd recorder to record a specific channel. you can set it to record of the scart input, but you must set up your ntl box to switch to the right channel.

    I'll just confirm Ted1's post. I have my Sony HDD recorder setup along with my UPC HD recorder.
