I want to put a chunk of cash into a savings account for a period of time (1-2 years). I've been looking at bank websites, and I'm open to either a fixed term or not.

I'm just wondering if anyone can offer advice on who offers the best rates. And who offers the best terms with respect to rates?

On those interest rates quoted above do you have to pay DIRT on the interest received?
