Car Tyres!

Hi Lads,

I need to get new tyres for the car,

im after pricing around a few place and their all different,

is their a point in paying brand name of the tyre,

im looking at goodyear as that what i have on it on...

1 goodyear tyre is 135 and the other band was sonra and they are 110...

are you just paying for the name or what can some one tell me??

Its the tyre itself that is important, not just the brand. Some lesser brands do a couple of very good tyres and some big brands.do some lesser tyres. Check out reviews of the specific tyre before buying.

What size tyres are u looking at cos 135 for goodyear seems very expensive to me. I just got new tyres today, Firestones for 80 each plus got the alignment done for free, the cheapest price i got for goodyears was 95 and the dearest was 100, that was for 4 205/55/16 tyres !

Maybe your tyres are a lower profile hence the price difference ?
