wheres the handiest place to change euro to sterling in newry?

hi folks, am passing through newry at 830am, is there anywhere there that i can change euros to sterling at that hour? cheers

There used to be little huts just when you pass the border where you could change - although I remember them giving quite a bad rate. You could use the ATM up there or just spend Euro in the shops!

Go into Sainsbury's, buy a box of matches (or similarly cheap item) and pay with a fifty euro note. You will be given your change in sterling.
Rinse and repeat as necessary.

There are several dual currency ATMs around the town - one located on the main street where woolworths used to be, another just off windsor hill (a BOI ATM). If you use your bank card you should be able to withdraw sterling directly from those machines.
