Activision clearly think they can get an extra £5 for COD 6 (probably can too) although there are not so many franchises with the same pull as COD. I don't think this price increase would work on other titles.... I can't imagine people willing to pay extra for a new Prince of Persia or Tomb Raider....COD however is in a different league (especially after the success of COD4).

Also, Activision have a reputation for nicle and diming people. The difference between Guitar Hero (Activision) and Rockband (not activision) is major in terms of DLC value.
