Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Helicopter crash in NY Hudson River

    Irish radio (FM104 or so journalist) said the chopper got hit by a meteor this morning.
    I was like "WTF is he she talking about?"

    But in fact it got hit by a plane. Even pictures are available.

    Anyone heard too?

    yea was all over the news last night , the helicopter and a small plane :confused: collided over the hudson. Seems to be the thing to do these day's.

    a meteor sounds way more awesome than a plane. they were just trying to spice things up to win over some new listeners

    Yesterday ok my bad, so WTF was the story with a meteor impact and this helicopter on the Irish radio today? This was the normal news update, not some funny programs...

    I remember there was that air france crash in june, someone else said "maybe it was a meteor"

    Guys can we please move the Hudson River to the Aviation forum. its seems to be an enormous fan of planes/helicopters

    There was a light aircraft manufacturer by the name of Meteor S.P.A. (Now known as Sky Arrow). Could always have been one of those which hit the chopper, hence 'helicopter hit by meteor'
