Jobs in Waterford City

Anyone know of any construction, landscape, or security jobs in Waterford City? I am moving back home soon from the US and have experience in the US Army as a Military Policeman, as well as experience at a Police Department as a dispatcher. I've also worked various landscape, construction, and food service jobs in my day. I'm just trying to get a general feel as to how things are right now...

In a word mate, AWFUL.

IMO security is prob your best bet.

yeah, that's what the cousins have been saying. there's security in nearly every shop these days! have you any idea what the pay is like?

The construction indusrty is dead here so you can rule that one out for a start.

Think minimum wage is €9.09 ? Not that its a huge difference or anything ...

my ultimate goal is to be in the gards, but i hear they're not hiring until 2011? i was also going to try an get into the PDF, but i've also heard they're not recruiting until 2011.
