I have to call my girlfriend in UK quite often. Anyone of you know the cheapest way to contact someone in UK from Ireland?

You could try using skype, failing that 3 let you use your flexi units to call the uk, it uses 2 units instead of one to call the uk, pay as you go it's the same price to call ireland as the uk..

If you have free landline calls, then try smscall.ie, irelandtopup.com.
If not talkxtra.ie.
I use them a lot and quite cheap to all over the world.

I have UK number in Ireland (from three.uk). Before July 2009, my girlfriend in UK can call me with her free minutes without additional charges (three like home). But after 1st of July, they started to charge me and consider roaming.
