Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looks like Stephen Hunt has got his premiership move anyway. He'll be back in the Championship next season with Hull though.

Lots of Irish players out there on the up which is a very good thing given the importance of the year ahead.

Can't wait to see how McCarthy gets on at Wigan after years of hype and hope. Foley, Doyle, Keogh (maybe) and Hunt moving to the PL has to be a good thing. Anyone any idea of what potential there is with Aaron Doran at Blackburn??

Michael Doyle has gotten off to a flyer at Leeds making a great impression but don't see him as even a long shot for the national team. Another year in the PL should see Andrews improve even more. Will be interesting to see if Stephen Reid can come back as strong as he was when injured, was at the top of his game about two years ago.

One worry I have tho is that Duff will get stuck at Newcastle - not even many rumours out there about him moving on. Prob due to his huge contract but he needs top flight football the year before a (possible) World Cup appearance!

I did like what i saw of Doran in that match they mention against Chelsea last season.

It is good news for him that he has been kept in the senior squad wheras Treacy was sent to Sheff Utd, I'm hoping this means Sam wants to use him this year after being impressed with his outings last year.

I guess we will see soon enough.

Dave Mooney scored twice for Reading last night in the league cup. Hopefully he might get a few first team oppurtunities this season.

Andy Keogh puts Wolves 0-1 up against Wigan.

Hope he gets a good run in the team now.

Denis Behan scored for Hartlepool tonight, Bristol City came back to beat them 2-1, cracking header by all accounts. It's his first since moving over from Cork.

Edit: Should probably have mentioned that Owen Garvan laid on a goal for Alex Bruce in the Ipswich match too.
