    Hey Folks,

I smoked for 10 years and im now smoke free now for 20 months and i thought id share with you my experience of how to deal with giving up. But im sure everybody is different in some ways.

It took me 5 months before i gained total control with being able to say no and not worry about it, i dont think you will ever lose the addiction, even now id fancy a cigi but i just have so much control of saying no! it gives me a great sense of power.

2 months into a smoke free life i started the gym and im still going at least twice a week.

Its great being finally able to breathe through my nose, im getting much better sleep because of that, and my sense of smell is coming back.
Saying that my sense of taste came back too which is why i dont eat crap anymore because i can taste it lol!

I think the main thing to get into your head when giving up is make sure you know this is not a faze to get through, this is a new way of life your creating!
