What have I planted here?

    Sowed a load of veg earlier on in the year and most of it has done well. Including this plant that is now over 8 feet tall. It looks sort of like a sun flower, but I don't remember planting any. I was sure they were aubergene, but now I'm not so sure. It's doing my head in. Help!

    im no expert but it looks like sunflower to me. if you bought seed packages in the shop it happens that they contain the wrong seeds

    You could be right. Bought seeds in Hong Kong at a big Garden show and remember thinking they were really cheap...
