Spurs on TV/Setanta/ESPN/Sky!

    Can anyone clear up the situation for me regarding EPL football and coverage of it on what channels in Ireland?

    I have heard mix messages, some say NOTHING has changed re: Setanta in Ireland and we will get the same as we did last year, but others I saying it is limited, and yet others are saying it all went to ESPN.

    I have cancelled my sub to Setanta, and have signed up with ESPN (€13) My thinking was, I get SkySports already, so I will now get 46 extra games on ESPN in HD for on €13 + I should pick up a lot of games for free on Setanta IRELAND without a need of a subscription to Setanta anyway?

    Can somebody PLEASE clarify the position, Cheers!;)

    You can do it vis SKY ACTIVE on your remote, or you can just call them! Oh and is Setanta cancelled, they took money off my credit Card again this month (barstewards)

    I rang the bank and cancelled the monthly direct debit to Setanta.

    I have sky. I cancelled setanta so I wont see any of the 3pm sat games on set ire.
    I got espn too so should see a fair clatter of games on that. ESPN also do german/italian/french and American (beckham) football, so €12/13 a month is decent value.

    Yes but can anyone clarify, or not, that Setanta "in Ireland" will continue to cover all the EPL games they did - OR, do "Setanta in Ireland" only have the 3pm kick off's, and if so, are they also on ESPN?

    Setanta doesn't say setanta sports one or setanta sports Ireland
    But on the tv listings for setanta sports 1 it has a program for 3 o'clock this saturday when the blackburn citeh match is on. No tv listings for setanta Ireland for some reason

    So basically it looks like Setanta (in Ireland) still have the 3 o'clock games, and nobody else does?? But we are not sure if they will be on Setanta Ireland (no subscription required if you have Sky) or Setanta Sports 1 (Subscription required, even if you have Sky)!

    Well seems like with Sky, ESPN, and the free 3 o'clock games I will get on setanta Ireland I will see most Spurs games this year on TV!!:D and most in Hi def.....cool;) and for about 20 squids cheaper than I paid with my Setanta subscription last year - budubdumbdubder...........I'm Lovin it!
