Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

win x64 RAM question

    so i thought as i've x64 windows 7 installed the world is my oyster...i can install as much ram as i want, eg 2x 4gig ?
    so i was on crucial.eu, their scanner tells me 4 gig is my limit ? can this be true :eek:

    say it aint so ::cries... tell me why ?

    I suspect the limit is a feature of your motherboard.

    Normally no. Maybe a later BIOS revision might have increased it but I doubt it.

    You have got two choices; acer might have a bios update that will access more ram or find a new board that will fit in that case - I don't like your chances because it's motherboard seems to be smaller than a micro ATX
