Hill Climbing

Anyone got any recommendations on a first hill climbing adventure ?? Something not too hard but a climb at the same time. In the Cork region Wot the cross on the hill by Fermoy called and is there a climb here ?

I would have thought yes, but more of a 'walk' than a 'climb'

Great routes around the Cork / Kerry border. Used to do them once but don't have the time or energy anymore.

Hill walikng is actually a great way of meeting new people and I would highly recommend it to anybody new to an area or somebody wanting to meet some new friends.
