Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Id be worried about tips full forward line.

Do you think young Barron will be able for it physically..?

Id say he will definitely be targeted physically.

Heres hoping we can keep it tight at the back and provide dillon and co with good ball.
Heading up and looking forward to it, hope its not a repeat of last year in Cork!

How much is it to get in 10 euros.?

Obviously, it's hard to allow for getting caught behind tractors, but I don't think there will be a lot of traffic heading from Clonmel, certainly not match traffic anyway.

It's interesting people were talking about what terrace Waterford and Limerick will have for the 12th. What do ye think the crowd will be like? Will they open both terraces? There was 22,000 there for the munster final replay last year and they could have had both crowds in the one terrace in reality. Will there be much more in two weeks time?

Very good hurler though, he is small but obviously Hartley and co reckon he's able for it and John O Dwyer is class but he's not a monster in terms of size.

True, O'Dwyer certainly wont be bullying anyone, he is lethal on a going day as they say but if he's man wins the first ball or two he can be god awfull aswell, O'Dwyer is a very good foil for the likes of Buggy and Paddy Murphy but he wont exactly put himself about.

I agree with what you say about the attendance and the need for opening all the ground. I feel the 22,000 that showed up for the Munster Final replay last year might look very big. What was the attendance the last time Waterford and Limerick met. Am i right in saying it was less than 10,000.

There were 25,000 at the drawn game and 15,374 at the replay

The shocking weather and low ebb of both sides before the game had a lot to do with that. There's definitely renewed vigour in the Limerick camp since Donal came on board and this is a first C'ship game in 2 years for many of these players. We didn't have the worst league in the world either so if we've good weather I think the attendance could be around 30,000.

No hope I reckon. Waterford dont really turn out in huge numbers unless its a huge game (and not even last year for the Munster Final). Also the recession has definitely taken a hit, finally a lot of casual Waterford hurling supporters will view this an 'already in the bag' match and wont travel as a result.
Limerick will be there in stronger numbers for sure, but not enough to get it to 30K.
Look at the tiny numbers for last years semi final v Clare (albeit on a BH Monday) for example. There will be more than last year but only up around the 20K figure I think.
