Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Kaka's not one of them :D

    "
Brazil and Real Madrid star Kaka showed a poor positional sense rarely seen from him on the field by getting lost walking around the Estonian capital Tallinn on Tuesday.

Brazil are due to play a friendly against Estonia and Kaka decided to take an early morning stroll around the city's old town on his own. He was later spotted by two police officers and, on learning Kaka had actually lost his way back to the hotel, the officers took him there in the patrol car, the press office of the city's police department said.

Brazil play Estonia on Wednesday in a warm-up for their World Cup qualifier against Argentina on 5 September."

you think a guy on so much money would pay for a taxi back what a cheap skate :P

Nice to know underneath all that money hes human though!

Any other stories of footballers who've gone and done silly things like this?

there doesn't seem to be a general football thread if better one to merge with feel free.

Paul McGrath suits both the thread title and what the thread is actually about.

tbh if I was a footballer worth x million the last thing Id do is step into a cab in a mob run city like there.

Wasn't there the often-quoted story of the Irish team coach leaving Roy Keane behind at the stadium when he was doing a post-match random urine test.

Think he had to hitch or get a taxi back to the hotel (where they were all on the lash already).
