Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    [FONT=&quot]Hi guys,
Great to see a bit of interest already.
There is a rather swish video up on the facebook page that will give you an idea of what's going on.
The acts for the Limerick Peak event will be announced this Monday the 24th.
You can register for tickets to any of the events now on the address and there will be an event page on facebook come Monday.
I will be back here to announce it too.
    Cheers for reading

    Hey Peak,
How's about some advice on how we can get as much free beer out of these gigs as is humanly possible?
Or some special Boards.ie vouchers maybe?

I have been to one of these before. That time it was 2 drink voucher per ticket. Ofcourse you will only get coors light with that voucher ;)

By the looks of things, Fight Like Apes have been confirmed as an act according to Google Ads for the event.

Ugh I'd rather pay for my beer than listen to Fight Like Apes. I'm hoping that isn't the Dublin gig you're talking about.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say 'Super Furry Animals'. No clue what music they play, or what kind of music will be at the gig, but there goes.

Heya, was due up this morning but we hit some server snags I am afraid.
    It now looks like tonight.
There is a large capacity at all venues though so you should be fine even checking back on Monday.
Which gig/s are you interested in?

No line up news yet I am afraid. Gig is on the 17th October though.

You should get a feel for it when we announce the Limerick show on Monday.
One of the acts has been mentioned on this thread already, not saying which one though...

What date is the Dublin one on?

Really hard to find info on these..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 47 CoorsLightMusic (Peak)

    hi nm,
None of the shows have been officially announced yet so we can't say too much just yet.

Provisionally I can say the following, although it is subject to change.
Coors Light Peak Limerick: 19th Sep
Coors Light Peak Galway: 3rd Oct
Coors Light Peak Cork: 17th Oct
    Coors Light Peak Waterford:24th Oct
Coors Light Peak Dublin: 7th Nov

Acts will usually be announced a couple of weeks before each show.
In terms of acts playing, there are clues in this thread and one has been mentioned (not elbow!)

Check out the video and above pic for an idea of location.
    Hope that helps a bit!

I'm going to guess Swish as well actually. You said there were clues on the page, 'swish' is the only word that stood out. Also, they have been on hiatus so havent been around for a while, and have a new album in november so might be gigging soon.

Haven't a notion who they are though.

    Neither have I.
    &
    It ain't them.

it's more obvious than that on the facebook page, a highly favoured position.
The other band seem even more seldom seen since the first clue.
