    First thing to do is search for power leaks.
    Plug out everything in your house and see if the meter is still moving.
    If not then start plugging things back in one at a time, but dont NOT turn them on. Leave the fridge until last.
    If the meter starts moving again then whatever you plugged in has a constant draw for some reason.
    Don't leave things on standby, they still use power, even if only a little.

    Firstly, due to the exception cold weather ground temperatures have been close to freezing since December and only now are starting to rise. the water coming into your home is at ground temperature, so the extra energy required to heat water for imersion, kettle, washing machine, diswasher etc etc is quite substantial.

    As we get into summer, ground temps rise to about 14 degrees.

    And you can alo simply switch your billing to bord gais or airtricity and this will save you 10%-14% for the next 12 months. - There is no restriction whatsoever for switching, doesn't matter if you are renting, in for just 3 months, selling or live in a mansion. - a 2 minute phone call or web visit to www.thebigswitch.ie or www.airtricity.ie will giev you the savings.
