Visa application - how long

    Typically speaking, how long does it take to get a visa (working holiday visa in this case) applied for and approved?

    If I need one ready to go for Dec 1st, do I need to get it sorted ASAP?

    I want to sort it ASAP of course, but I'm under pressure from a bunch of different things at the moment, do I have a few weeks to take care of this?

    It takes a couple of hours to get WHV, you then have 1 year to use it i.e you could get one today and you could go to Oz on 11th august 2010. You then have 1 year in OZ to 10th August 2011.

    So you could apply for it in November if you wanted. To be safe probably October.

    The cheapest WHV is from the Australian embassy itself:

    Applies for mine in May, had it within 4 hours!

    They're pretty much a cert unless u have prior convictions or that :D
