Have to be on the most frustrating run ever. Of the past 7 soccer bets I've done, in 6 of them only one selection has let me down. I don't even pick many selections, it's usually 4. Tonight it was 3, with Schalke letting me down for €150. I expected them to hammer Montpellier given they only had 1 point and goal difference of -6.

Sunday I was waiting on the draw between Sunderland and Norwich for €230, with Sunderland missing an opener and having a goal (rightfully) ruled offside.

A few weeks back Lazio let me down against Spurs for €250 with Lloris putting in a MOTM display.

I'm going to be bold and put some money on Chelsea win the champions league. 61/1 on Betfair. It'll take some luck tomorrow, Shaktar beating Juve, but if it happens Chelsea could be a very interesting prospect in the latter stages particulalry with Benitez record in Europe. If they can avoid Barca/Madrid/Bayern until the semi's then the price will have come down a massive amount and then I'll lay about 75% of it.

I don't think they will get through. The draw in the Shakhtar game is odds on @1.83, and I would tend to agree with the odds that in all likelihood the game will end as a draw seeing both sides go through. Who bet to fix a game than an Italian side with a record of it in the past and an Eastern European side? :pac:

I agree completely and its a massive factor to consider, but I think the winter in Donetsk could help Shaktar.

At the end of the day if Chelsea get through tomorrow they'll be between 10-16/1. Whereas I have them at 61/1. That massive value change is worth a punt I feel.

We'll know by this time tomorrow.
