Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I need my D1 licence to drive a minibus for the ambulance service. I already passed the theory and have my provisional. Am I exempt from this new CPC? Will I even be able to apply for my full test without it? It says certain emergency vehicles are exempt but it doen't mention ambulances.

    Any info appreciated

Page 3, Question 4 answers your question.

    From the FAQ:

Question: I do not want to drive professionally (or I believe I have an exemption from CPC) but I want to get a bus driving licence, what do I do?

Answer: Nothing has changed for you: you can apply for the learner permit theory test and for the standard driving test and when you pass both you can apply for a bus driving licence in the normal way.

Looking at the exemptions list you definitely don't have to do it - you're exempted twice, as a volunteer and emergency services.
