Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi guys.

Seriously considering buying an 06 peugeot 407 at the moment (i have decided that subaru wrx is too expansive to run)

As i havent the first clue about cars, i was wondering if any of you guys could give me advice on this car.

    Thanks

Parkers is always a good place to get a review of car

    http://www.parkers.co.uk/advice/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=16975

also bear in mind no matter what car you review on the forum people will have problems

know a few people who have them, the 1.6 diesel seems to lack power, the depreciation on these cars is something else, so would only buy if getting at rock bottom price. electrics seem to be problems and some issues with the gear boxes (a friend had to have a new gear box, 3 year old car) with these cars which is the same with my 307, they cannot seem to sort out the radio problems on any of their cars and build quality is not as good as german or jap makes

would consider an alternative, jetta or passat, low depreciation and the usual vw build quality

    good luck

Anyone else find it a bit strange that someone who drives a Subaru WRX claims to know nothing about cars?.....

I think the OP was considering buying a WRX. Although, to be fair, it's quite a jump from that to a 407.
