I'm not sure if this should be in this forum or not so feel free mods to move or delete it.

On the 3rd of September we have organised a race night in Kennys in Lucan. It is in aid of the Marie Keating Foundation and all proceeds from the night go to the Marie Keating Foundation. The two people organising the race night are also doing the Chicago Marathon in aid of the same charity.

All are welcome obviously and the more that come the better!

Horses & Jockeys will be sold on the night if there are any still left at that stage.

If anybody is interested in going or wants more information please send me a message.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for that.

Even if this thread brought one more person, it would be that little bit of extra money made for a very worthy charity.

This event has been cancelled due to the lack of sponsorship from businesses and general lack of interest. We couldn't get enough people going or even horses & jockeys sold to make it viable.

We have decided to cancel the event and we are running a "Last Man Standing" football competition instead.

Zaph, thanks for stickying the thread!

It can be "unstickied" and deleted at your will. Thanks again.

Sorry things didn't work out for you, but please feel free to post any further charity events you may hold in the future.
