    I took this earlier this morning. It's my neighbour's sinister-looking cat taking a break from trying to swipe fish from my pond to wonder if he would be better off having a punt on the great tit at the feeder.

    Also, for the real bird afficionados out there, what is the bird in the picture below? I snapped it in my garden yesterday. It's a new arrival. I live in Cork.

    Thats hilarious! The look of concentration on his face is gas, lovely cat looks really fluffy, I'd say he'd snap your neck with one arm...I mean paw:D

    That particular cat is evil incarnate. I regularly have to throw small pebbles at him to get him off my roof, where he patiently sits directly over where the sparrows are nesting, waiting for the chicks to make their first foray into the outside world.

    I love cats, though, and I have one myself. She is no stranger to killing either.
