Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The issue is basically the car (1.9TDI) is misfiring / or running a cylinder down (Sometimes -> runs a bit better once the car is up to temp)
( It seems to be drinking the juice too )

(No warning lights showing on the dash)

car had a diagnostic check ..
    Fault codes showing are:

    16685 - Cyl. 1 Misfiring recognised
    18074 - Electrical Malfunction

Has anyone come across this ?

Not sure if its the injector its self - Could possibly be the wiring loom to the injectors

    Any ideas?

There are loads of reasons why the injectors sould give this problem, injector seals for instance.

An odd one but it reminds me of a temp sensor problem for some reason, mainly because its using juice. The engine could be running too lean when cold and too rich when warm.

Also HP fuel pumps are known to give trouble in TDi's, check for air bubbles in the fuel lines coming from the filter.

I used to have a golf tdi that would miss when cold but was fine once warm
