Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is a long shot but I know some boardsie's have and currently live in the UK.

Can anyone tell me if a UK registered car with expired road tax still has valid insurance ??

If so can you point me to the proper legislation to cover it ?

I'd imagine it does. Why would otherwise valid insurance cover cease if the tax disc goes out of date?

I doubt there'd be any legislation on it.

not having road tax is illegal on its own in the uk, they can take your car, fine you ect...

but iirc, there is no legislation stating that your insurance is void if you have no tax.

your insurance policy might have a clause in it about it.. buts that about it.
