Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've a week off ocming up in September, and i really want to travel somewhere for it.
However, I'm not used to travelling, and i'll be going alone also.

Does anyone have any reccomendations for somewhere good to go to have some fun, even if i'm on my own. I'd like something that has a lot of cool sights and things to see.

Also, are there any good websites for arranging this sort of thing, where i can just go travelling somewhere to see the world?

really depends on what you class as fun, are you after nightlife/adventure sports/wildlife/relaxation??

if you go into any good book shop theres a travel book out that gives a month by month guide of events and festivals around the world, might be worth checking out.

if you've got a week maybe check out south africa. cape town is amazing and you can always go on safari on a 4 day trek.

Well, i'm into seeing cool sights, wildlife, and having once-in-a-lifetime experiences. I'd love to do the sort of things that'd appear on "things to do before you die" lists. That sort of thing.

Is there any websites that offer, like holidays for people like me that just want to travel, see the world, and have new experiences.

Cape town is an amazing place to visit, might be cold in Sept, see Table mountain, and loads of orther day trips as well as cage dive with a shark and then do a safari (2 of the must do's) seeing a lion walk 2 feet from your jeep is amazing.
