    Hopefully he goes before the window closes. Doubt he has a future at Spurs and apparently Villa, Everton and Man City are interested. He'll probably fetch no more than £8-9 million. :o

    I remember when he signed he said he was a boyhood spurs fan and his family and friends went to all the games. You would think he would at least make an effort. We all know what he can do but he seems happy on the bench just picking up his wages. I would not be sorry to see him go. We have had many less talented players but at least they tried.

    Tottenham midfielder David Bentley has been banned from driving for a year after admitting drinking and driving.
    Bentleyspacer.gif pleaded guilty during the hearing at St Albans Magistrates' Court to drink-driving on 13th August in Hertfordshire.
    The 24-year-old crashed his Porschespacer.gif into a lamp post after drinking four pints of lager and two spirits at a gig in London.
    Bentley issued an apology on the Tottenham website after the incident and the club are believed to have disciplined him.

    Maybe it was the kick in the arse he needed to get his career back on track. He actually played quite well on Wednesday against Doncaster even though he didn't celebrate any of the goals. :confused:
