Personally I think the music played is good, imaging sounds cool and the whole idea of news at quarter to/past the hour is clever.

...but the DJs are muck. Of all the DJs, the only one I can stand is Dara Quilty on nights. He's a good presenter.

The breakfast pair? How the hell did they get on radio let alone the breakfast show? Steve K? ****e. The two on the Zoo Crew are ok. That chick on mid-morn' always stutters, and sounds like she's about to cry with nerves

i really hate that station, its a load of balls..... clare and the gob****e ask stupid questions to listenes and guests..... they consistly talk ****e and mis-pronounce names in irish,, such as the food board 'teagasc' as 'chog-gast'........... the staion is for foolish illiterate louts who are entertained by ****e talk from wannabe d4 presenters,,,, i dont know why they have such a listenership,, it ranges from complete scumbags in scanger mobiles to snobby mini cooper 17 year old (not dat here is anything wrong wit mini coopers, only 17 year olds in them)

I think compared to other stations they play sligthly better music, but thats just my taste so I can understand why people will scoff at that, but despite their claims they talk way too much and play far too many ads, more so seemingly than other main stations in m opinion :P

the station ethos is one of anything goes non judgemental silly liberalism and thier audience is one of uneducated wasters

Worst channel on the radio, the music can be good however the complete lack of competant intelligent and funny presenters let them down, there may be one or two who have potential but the shows format in all cases seem generally restrictive. I think spin is aimed at 6 - 16 age group because i dont think people outside this age brackets would listen to this tripe

The news @ quarter-to and quarter past is nothing new......Capital Radio had "Capital 20-20 news" @ ....well, guess what hour offset.

P.S. I'm assuming that they have actually started doing news, instead of the juvenile colloquailism ****e that they used to do ?

Compared to what it was like after it started its improved immensely. Still a few presenters that could do with swapping out and their specialist music coverage is a bit too short and too late.

Same way I dont watch Nickelodeon, Buy Womens underwear, or Listen to Gerry Ryan - None of its not aimed at me so naturally i'm not gonna like it.

Spins a business and a very sucessful one at that, as soon as its listeners.... its aimed listeners... stop liking what they hear, then i'm sure they'll be the first to change things.

I won a prize with Spin a few months ago but I never got it in the post.

It was disappointing. I contacted them about it twice since but never even got a reply the last time. It makes me think that station is rather amateurish. I don't listen to it at all anymore.

I'm right in thinking Spin play pretty much exactly the same as FM104 and 98FM aren't I? I think I had to listen to it once or twice in work and it had me driven mad. Phantom all the way!

Listened for the last week. They're actually very good. They have chemistry, are funny and play good music. I found myself giving out about the music "get the fuucking DJs back on FFS!!"
