Heavy rain here at the moment but forecast is good.

    Met.ie
Rain clearing quickly southeastwards this morning and brightening up everywhere with sunny spells developing, scattered blustery showers also, mainly over the northern half of the country and it will be windy in northern areas, breezy elsewhere. Fresher than recent days top temperatures of 16 to 20 degrees.

    same route tomorrow?
i train regularly in the rain, but the idea of an epic in ww in the rain does not appeal to me at all. Leaving home in the rain and incountering rain during aspin are 2 difrent things when talking about an epic cycle.

I live just off Stocking Lane - its still coming down here. Staying in bed seemed the best option. If there is a spin tomorrow would like to head out.

Didnt know it was cancelled as I had to leave home @7:45 to get to start by 9. So it was just me and a crinkly old road map. Waited at roundabout until 9:20 and decided to go on as forecast was promising but so wrong. Rain and high wind until 12:30 or so. Planned turning back at laragh so I went up to kippure mast just for an extra blast. By the time I got to Wicklow Gap weather improved and decided to go on and it was good for the rest of the day.
Nice route especially Aughrim/Avoca valley as I hadnt been down that way before. (Pot of tea and wrap for 6 euro in The Green Bean Aughrim)
Its very like the WW200 but with 4 climbs instead of 3. My first time going over the Sally Gap from Roundwood side and found it the hardest part.
If ye are going out tomorrow Edmonstown Road is closed just above the roundabout but cyclicts can pass along the footpath.
PS: Save a little bit for the short climb from Kippure Holiday Village towards Botharnabreena Rd on the way home.

@Victorcarrera: that's sounds like an epic ride you put in today, what sort of mileage did you clock up?

No idea. Because weather was bad I brought my hack bike and wheels (No speedo magnet) I had left home before I realized.
Im guessing here but the route Niezchem put up is supposed to be 174Km but I added Kippure Mast and made a route error near lacken which added 10Km approx. Can someone put up the distance tomorrow please.
