Induction days for MBS and MSc

Hi, I'm doing the MSc in Supply Chain Mgmt out in the Smurfit School and the induction day is Fri 4th of Sept and i am away on hols til sat. I am just wondering how important are these induction days and is there anything important i will miss, that i can't sort out on the monday??
